The 1700 Series: Affordable Premium Compact Tractors
These little tractors work hard and offer performance options typical of bigger tractors. Massey has engineered them to be massey tractor 1700 seriessimple to operate and fuel efficient. Ideal for general maintenance on small farms of all types, and equally suited for landscape, construction, or for managing hunting properties. You can use them for mowing, loading, backhoe work, snow blowing and more.
And the operator seating is comfortable, with controls and pedals located much like those in a lawn tractor cab. But unlike a lawn tractor, the CG1700 not only comes with a professional quality mowing deck, but you can use the machine for bucket work, or add the matched CB65 backhoe and extend your work capabilities.
Turbocharged and intercooled, the 3-4 cylinder diesel engines (36.2 to 59 gross engine horsepower) meet Tier 4 Final clean air emissions requirements. The engines are all-cast-iron construction, and you can choose either gear or hydrostatic transmission. Features also include a wet clutch for durability and a modulation button for slow, smooth start-up to prevent shock load damage.
