2017 Shelbourne Reynolds HD700 Series VFRT HD765VFRT

The HD700 trimmer range is now available with range topping Variable Forward Reach Telescopic combination arm sets.

Both VFR and telescopic configurations have obvious advantages, it was decided to combine these advantages into one machine with no compromise in machine size and operator comfort with the evolution of the new VFRT . As the name suggests this revolutionary new machine combines telescopic and variable forward reach in one machine for the first time..

The HD775VFRT has a telescopic reach of between 6.2 and 7.5m and a forward reach capability of upto 2.5m. The VFRT also features the ability to reach the second arm rearwards behind the machine, this enables the operator to side up a hedge or trim a verge with the head behind the tractor wheel. The head can be placed rearwards by between 1.0m and 1.6m depending upon the position of the telescopic arm.

The HD765VFRT is now available and is a shortened version of the 775 with telescopic reach between 5.6m and 6.5m and a forward reach capability of upto 2.0m.

The two VFRT models weigh 2000kg and 1970kg respectively and so although they can be 3 point linkage mounted both are recommended for use with Shelbourne axle brackets.

VFRT machines are recommended for use when both a long reach machine is required as well as a compact machine for narrow access work and when the operator prefers the comfort of a forward reach head.
