The Hydro-Drive 24” sod cutter is built upon the most rugged foundation in the industry with a superstructure frame that features 50 additional pounds of steel and supports a heavy-duty drive and cut system with a laser clad cutting blade - for the ultimate smooth, precise cutting and 3x the blade life.

The unit offers contractors a larger, more productive option. From irrigation, landscape, hardscape, sports field, golf or sod farm applications, the SC240HG and SC240HG will take the chore out of large tear out and removal projects. The SC240HG and SC240KG are ideal for softer touch, shallow cut, bent grass applications. Powered by either a Honda® 6.5 gross HP* or a Kohler® with 9.5 foot-pounds of torque.

50% thicker 3/8” steel substructure and a ½” thick steel lateral support reinforces frame rigidity.

Features a rugged cast iron gear box, spiral cut gears and thick seals. Sealed bearings, one-inch plated lateral stability bar, large aluminum dog bones and tight eccentric placement adds strength and dependability. Laser clad cutting blade for precision cut and up to 3x blade life.

Our best in class controls package provides standardized variable speed intuitive hydro-drive controls allowing an operator to feather in forward / reverse directly at the handles with no shifting required.
