The 2026 JCB 290T is a new high-capacity compact track loader (CTL) positioned toward the larger end of JCB’s tracked-loader lineup. JCB announced the model as part of its 2026 compact-equipment expansion, describing it as a 74-hp machine designed to provide increased lifting and breakout performance.

The 290T uses a 74-hp JCB EcoMAX engine, giving it the power needed for demanding attachments and heavy material-handling work. JCB specifically positions the 290T as a step up in lift and breakout performance within its compact track-loader range.
